The representative office of KPMG in Novosibirsk started up in October 2007, and had 40 employees by early October 2008.
The KPMG Siberian Regional Center operates throughout the Siberian Federal District, performing audits of companies in the telecommunications, coal mining, chemicals, agricultural, financial, steel and non-ferrous metals, equipment manufacturing and railway transportation industries.
The KPMG Siberian Regional Center plans to significantly expand its service offering in the near future to include tax, financial and management advisory services.

A regional tour of pianist Denis Matsuev in 2008-2009 has been organized with the support of KPMG. A concert in Novosibirsk is scheduled for December 2008. KPMG is helping to resolve the problems of orphans in the Siberian region. In particular, an agreement was reached with the Department of Health of Novosibirsk Oblast on a training program for employees of children's orphanages in the city and oblast. The training will include the development of productive care skills, developmental communication skills, formation of humane professional values, and development of ways to prevent professional "burn out".
