The strong focus on risk management and corporate governance in today's business environment has encouraged many organisations to scrutinise their risk and controls processes more carefully. KPMG is performing a survey on current risk management practices and approaches at Russian companies, including the establishment of the risk management process, achievement of risk management tasks, and the difficulties that companies face during the implementation of the risk management system. KPMG initiated and performed a similar survey in Asia, Australia, North America and Western Europe in 2009.

This survey is designed to identify how the approach to risk management in Russia and the CIS differs from other parts of the world.
